The Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES) would like to invite your attention to the “Call for Papers’ which is being launched under the theme “Low-Carbon Climate-Resilient Society: Issues and Challenges for Asia”. This special paper competition invites papers which focus on suitable policy frameworks to achieve a low carbon, climate-resilient society in Asia.
Participation is open to policy practitioners, scholars and students from both developed and developing countries. However, please note that the focus of the study should be on Asia or at least the implications should be relevant to Asia.
The deadline of submission is on 1st November 2008. Selected papers will be awarded an USD1,500-honorarium per paper and will be published through the IGES Climate Policy project’s Working Paper Series or as a book by a commercial publisher or as a special issue of a relevant journal.
